How to clear September 2016, CTET exam in 30 days?

With the introduction of RTE act in 2010 a new eligibility test, Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) was introduced for entering into primary and secondary teaching profession. So in addition to getting B.Ed. and Diploma in elementary education another qualification was imposed to improve the standard of teaching and learning. However, it is interesting that even after so many exams to become a teacher, salaries of teaching staff are not that lucrative.

Since starting whether state TET or Central TET exam CTET conducted by CBSE, the pass percentage has been very lower.  Though CTET exam is not something which has questions out of scope what candidates have studied  or that difficult that a double graduate can't answer yet less than 20% people who appear clear the exam. One needs at least 60% marks in CTET to get the eligibility certificate which is valid for 7 years. Most of the time it is candidate's poor planning or lack of understanding of style of CTET exam that results in poor performance. Most candidates appear in CTET exam without preparation. Since exam covers syllabus from school curriculum to graduation in addition to languages(Hindi, English and other regional) and Child pedagogy, if candidates devote ample time daily for each section, nothing can stop them from qualifying it.

Last CTET exam papers: Get last 4 CTET solved papers and solve them yourself. Check your wrong answers. Most of wrong answers would be from Child pedagogy and languages section. Try to understand what is the reasoning behind each situation presented in each question.

Once you go through old papers, you would know which subjects are your strong point and in which subjects you are weak. Devote more time on weak subjects.

Class subjects: Read subject books related to your subjects as per paper 1 or paper 2. Do get a CTET entrance book and read all MCQs.

Child pedagogy: Most of the time the answer is not what you think. Read child pedagogy theory from your B.Ed. books, Try as many as MCQ questions and try to understand the reasoning and psychology for every wrong answer.

Languages: Do pay special attention to languages paper. This is where most science students get very less score. Do devote time to learn grammar (see last papers to get an idea), proverbs, comprehension etc.

Devote at least 1 hour everyday  for weak subjects and practice as many as questions as you can. Do treat it like any other final exam like graduation or post graduation and definitely you would be among those few who get CTET eligibility certificate of  CTET exam to be held on 18th September 2016.
